Hey, girl,

Jeanette Peterson 0:57

hey, you know what? I haven't been in a while, like just hanging out. Facebook groups. I honestly think that they're dead. Like I think that they might have run their course like everything is another course right? At some point in time. Like MySpace, MySpace was still poppin for a while there. Are you even logged back on maybe 10 years ago? See what was happening but I feel like Facebook groups are only for a specific type of people. I feel like all the new people are over on Tik Tok. Not me. All the the moms are on Instagram. Me. And all the older folks are over on Facebook. I feel like those are the only people that are actually liking my content on Facebook, the older people not that there's anything wrong with that if my target audience was older, I'd be all over that thing. I would be on it. I'd be going live every day. I would be where my people are. But I feel like my people honestly every person that's ever bought from me, Instagram, or they might find me in a Facebook group and then follow me on Instagram because that's where I'm actually connecting with people. So for me and my brand, Facebook groups ago I ran one for a while and it seemed great. I was nurturing clients but for real for real. I was focusing on three things this year. The podcast, tripling down on that my email list. If you're not on it, get on it. And Instagram. That's it. That's all I have capacity for outwardly facing. Because I want to be as good as I can be for every client that signs up for me. I want to have 100% focus on them. I want to give them my All right I want to do the best that I can. I don't know if you guys know this, but I'm an Enneagram three which means I legit will fight somebody to be the best. And for me, Facebook groups are not the best right now. So I'm dead with them. I think they're dead. I'm in a mastermind and that was a question that was asked our Facebook groups dead. Everybody said yes. Including the one that was in the mastermind, where people are paying to be in there. No one was frequenting the Facebook group. So even people who are paying to be in a group aren't even showing up to the group. I take that back. I take that back. People who are in Facebook groups are people who are not actually running businesses. People who are frequenting Facebook groups are not making any real money. There. I said it. The only people you're gonna find in a Facebook group are broke For real. who's commenting who's doing things? it's not it's just not gonna happen. They've got too much other things to do than to be watching somebody in the Facebook groups and on their phone all day. It's way too late three, if you want to be someplace where people are. It's not a Facebook group. Wow, that was so good, so I know that you know somebody that also needs to hear that. So share this episode, leave a review. And I would love if you could watch my free workshop at Jeanette petersen.com/missing piece. I'll see you guys over on the grams at Jeanette dot Peterson. Bye.
