you're listening to the unapologetically unstoppable podcast, it's about going deep into who you are made to be. And following that, no matter what, where your calling is in the front seat, and fear, well, it's trying to stop you. But fuck that guy, and getting the tools and tips to become an unstoppable. I'm your host, Jeanette Peterson, where not too long ago, I had to find my calling. Here. You'll hear from me and other online experts on how to discover your calling, the steps to make it happen, and how to monetize it. I believe when we're unapologetic about our calling, we become an unstoppable expansive force. So let's get started.

Hey, girl, hey. So last week, he multiplied and this week, I need you to just listen a little bit closer to what is going on. Okay. If you couldn't multiply last week, that's fine, that's fine. But I do want to ask you this. How do you know that what you're doing, like every day? Is from your intuition or from the Holy Spirit? How do you know that? How do you how do you hear that? Do you hear it with your ears? Do you have like a gut response? Do you feel it in your heart? Like yes, that might that lights me up? What is that I read this book recently. It's called whisper by Mark Patterson. And it's about hearing the voice of God and listening and trying to figure out what he's saying to you. And have a really hear the Holy Spirit talking to you your intuition, the whole the whole thing, the whole thing. And you got to get quiet, you have to do intentional, quiet time to hear. Now, if you don't subscribe to God, cool. You need to meditate.

If you do, you need to get down on your knees, girl, you need to start praying. And in order to do that, you have to do it. I mean, like the first time we do anything, it's just not going to just not gonna do it. You know, I'm saying you go around the block once you're not gonna lose a million pounds. It's kind of like that. It's about being consistent. It's about being disciplined. It's about all of those things that you need to do. And nobody's going to do this for you. The only way you can continue to hear from your Holy Spirit, your intuition is to get down on your knees and pray and be quiet. Intentionally. Intentionally spending time with God, the universe, the maker, the man, the guy. You have to do that. And then you will hear what you need to do next. And then you'll get direction and then and then and then. But first, you have to do the things. There's a story in the Bible. I'm afraid to ever told you guys about this, but it's about okay. I am not like verbatim. Bible teacher. I'm a this is the just go look it up yourself. Okay. So the gist of the story is this.

There was a army, there was a lot of things happening and they were trying to take down the walls of Jericho. So God told him in his armies to march around the city of Jericho seven times, and then the walls would fall. I think of this as like, East Germany, West Germany, like, tear down that wall, Mr. Gorbachev kind of deal. You know, like, the 90s Okay, maybe I'm too old. Maybe you're too young. I don't know. But that's what I think of. I'm like, Oh man, cuz I lived in Germany. Name, and I saw the Berlin Wall. And that reminds me of that, like physically seeing it. And so what needs to happen? I don't know, when God started loosening all the shackles on on the walls, I have no idea. I don't know, when what happened, I have no idea, right? But he needed the discipline. He said, Yeah, I'm gonna work for you, this is what you want. Cool, I got you. But I also need some commitment from you too. I need to know that you want this as bad as I want this for you.

Because I can't want this for you more than you want it for yourself. So if you want this for you, this is what you got to do. So if you want this for you, this is what you gotta do. You gotta get down on your knees, you got to start praying, you got to be with me. Have a relationship with me as God. And then we can make whatever your dreams are come true. So that's what I've been doing. I've been intentionally spending time with God, more often than I have ever, ever spell like that.

Because I know that God wants to do good things with me. And I know that I've got to listen. But it's hard for me to listen, when kids are doing this. TV's on this blah, blah, blah, we got our regular routine, we got dance, got piano, we get all these things going on in our lives. So it's easy just to be like, Oh, my, I don't see God everyday. He's not on Instagram, I don't actually need to, like sit down and spend time with him. But I've been trying intentionally, so I can hear more what he has for me. Because I know for me, he got some the big plan for me, and I'm waiting for it. I know it's gonna happen, I just don't know when. So I'm going to do what I need to do, which is get down on my knees, pray, spend time, do the things I need to do. And if you're not religious, that still means spending time with yourself. Meditating, having quiet time, all of those things, just cutting out some of the noise, which we've already talked about before. But you have to do that.

e was even made up until like:

I'm going to put the book that I was talking about whisper by Mark Patterson in the show notes because you need to read it. You need to read it. And it's not just like a even if you're not a Christian, you need to read this book because it tells you the testimony of walking with God. You should read it just listening, hearing the voice of God tell it like getting him to tell you what to do. And it's like story after story of guy telling you to do quote unquote stupid things, you doing them? And then even more good things happen. Like why am I not listening to my own advice? That's so stupid. Now why are you not doing this? Okay, I'm gonna go figure it out. You'll figure it out to talk to you next week.

Oh, my goodness. Now I know you're ready to take this to the next level.
