Your personal relationships are not supposed to suffer because of the work you do. They're supposed to thrive because of the work you do. Because the work you do is supposed to be a good thing. And for the spirit, and you're supposed to love it. If you're not loving it, you're not doing the right thing. So what are you not doing?

Hey, girl, hey, you know, I feel like every time that I've been in a bad relationship with my job or my business, something suffers. And I'm not just talking about the bottom line, which that also suffers. I'm also talking about my health. And like my body, and like my relationship with my family, and my kids and my husband, and there's no joy. Does that ever happen to you? Are you in a place where your health is suffering? Is money really that? I mean, money is important. Don't get me wrong, but is it more important than your health? I don't think so. I want you to do some reflecting this week on what your personal like Life is like, with your business.

We had a period in our business where we were literally I was literally surviving off Red Bull. I mean, I do that anyways, right? Like some people survive off coffee, I was surviving off three Red Bulls, and water and anything was sugar in it for energy. It was not walking, I was not drinking water. I was not doing anything. And Allison was like, I can't keep going with this. This is not sustainable for me, I can't do this. She's like, I can't do this anymore. I can't do this, like this. And I was like, we just have to get through this one launch. And then it'll be over and then we'll be fine. And then it's never fine, right? It's never fine. People were upset with us. People were mad and blah, blah, blah, all the bad negative things that happen when you're having a bad period in your business. Things were getting dropped. We weren't good. Parents, I was yelling at my kids more than I should have. And it wasn't their fault. It wasn't their fault. I was going from Red Bull all day to wine at night. And it just wasn't good. I was putting on a happy face every day. But I was not I was not doing good. So that's how I knew that something needed to change.

We both knew intuitively that something had to change in our business. And we didn't know what it was. We didn't know how it was. We just knew the things that we were doing then could no longer happen. So we came together and we said all right after this no more of this. We're not doing this anymore. We're not doing launches anymore. This sucks. It's like taking out all of our energy. We are not doing the things we need to do for our own personal health. Our families are being affected by this this can't happen anymore. And we were like yep 100% We're in alignment with this we will not do launches anymore. And then the next day we got fired girl we got fired we got so fired and that was sad and but I was also like God I don't want to say yesterday I don't want to do any more launches, but I was gonna finish this one What the heck, man like I was gonna finish This, I was gonna leave see this one through, oh my god, I guess you know better than I do. Or at least I was prepared to be done with him mentally. And then that was it, then we're done. And then was the best month of our business, not financially. But mentally, mentally, we had the best month, we had so much clarity, we had so much focus, we had, like a really good plan, we knew exactly what we want to do. We didn't know how right, but sometimes that comes later, we knew that the way that we needed to start walking was not the way that we had been walking before. And I give that to the glory of God, the universe, whatever you want to call it, that's what I give it up to.

Because you know what, without that core relationship with the higher power God, we would not be here. I know that both of our house has gotten better. I'm drinking my water, we're doing our gratitudes every day, I'm having better relationships with my kids. And so I know I do have a better relationship with my kids, when I'm not with them all day. I don't know about you, I am more patient, I am more intentional with my time with them. Let's just put that out there. And we are created for joy. We are meant to have joy in our lives. We are meant to be a joyous person, people, creatures, things, humans, whatever you want to call us. We are meant to have joy in our hearts all the time. And I had no joy. I had no joy.

I had bitterness, confusion, anger, resentment, blah. You know what I have now? Clarity, happiness, joy, love. I love myself, I have the energy to hear the spirit talking to me because I can get quiet. And listen, I didn't even have time for that. Which is no way to live. First of all, you need to be connected to your higher spirit. Which means you got to get quiet. You got to do your prayer, your meditation your hippies up whatever you want to call it. You got to get close. You got to be quiet, though. That's the only way you can hear the guidance. So where is your health right now? What is your health right now? What does that look like? What in your business or your life are you doing? That is sucking your health away? After being in the military, I thought that that was just like par for the course you know what I mean? No, it's not. That's not reality. I'm not doing that anymore. Your personal relationships are not supposed to suffer because of the work you do. They're supposed to thrive because of the work you do. Because the work you do is supposed to be a good thing. And for the spirit, and you're supposed to love it. If you're not loving it, and you're not doing the right thing. So what are you not doing? What are you doing wrong?

Yeah, I know you make some money doing the things you're doing. But you're not supposed to be doing those things. So I'm not saying quit your job. I'm saying you need to reevaluate things you need to do in your job. Maybe you need to quit your job. Does any part of your job bringing you joy? No. Well, I'm not saying you need to quit your job. I was listening to authentically you by the great Joyce Meyer yesterday. And she was talking about the gifts that God gives you to do his glory. And you know what? God will make away he will make I don't know anything about podcasting. If you told me five years ago that I would be making a podcast out of it like, yeah, yeah, no, no, I will not be doing that. Especially talking about Jesus in the podcast. Occasionally. Yeah, no, I would have been like a hard no of like, you're tripping. You're insane. But now I'm doing it. I want to put money on this. I definitely would not have bet on this. But I'm doing it. He gave me the skills. He gave me the words he gave me all the things I need to do to put this into fruition.

So what are the things that you're supposed to be doing? That your intuition is telling you you need to be doing? What is telling you your inner guidance? What is the Holy Spirit telling you that you should be doing for the greater good of society? The universe, the Kingdom? The you aren't doing? Is it going to be scary Hill? Yeah, this I was saying I was wondering about the scariest thing that I've ever done and how uncomfortable it was those basic training. I don't know who volunteered for that me. But why? Why I've no no, but that was so uncomfortable. So I and that changed my life. Okay, that that period changed my life. Was it fun? No, not at all. Could I see the goodness in it? Yes. Did I enjoy every minute? No. Like I said, No, it was it sucked. It was not fun.

But I know that during times like that, very hard core uncomfortableness is where you grow. for the greater good for you for somebody else for all those things. So, my dear, it is time to get uncomfortable. It's time you've been putting this off for way too long. You know exactly what you need to be doing. And don't act like you haven't heard the word before. You know, deep in your heart what you're supposed to be doing and you haven't done it yet. Which is why you have not gotten to the next level in your business or in your life, because you haven't done it yet. So now's the time to go back and do that very uncomfortable thing that seems like basic training that you don't want to do. It's time
